Dear Timberwolves Families and Community,
Though this school year filled with a new normal, and is projected to be different from any other, together, we will continue our tradition of providing a data driven achievement focused education to our students and quality service to our families. I am truly excited and honored to embrace my first year from the first day of school leading the Timberwolves community for the 2020-2021 school year. We have endured so much as a school community, and we will continue be resilient. Our new distance learning task does not need to be a barrier, but instead will serve as an opportunity to change our mindset as it relates to the delivery of instruction and engaging students in learning. This year, I am very much looking forward to providing exceptional educational experiences for our students. I want students to create healthy memories that will last a lifetime! We want our students to embrace adversity, master technology and love coming to school, even if it is virtually. With your help, we can instill life-long values in our students to work hard, exceed expectations, and to appreciate their education. Though we are forced to adapt our teaching and learning methods to address the conditions of the pandemic, our heart for our students and families remains the same, and we will do everything in our power to keep our students thriving. Same Language is our motto, and we will strive to be great communicators! With your support, together, we can be the pilot school of change to take GMMS to the next level. Please don’t hesitate to contact me, I need your support and value your input.Sincerely,Corey Lambert, Sr.
